Jane Harden moves into a new home with her family, only to have her parents unexpectedly called away for a few days. They leave Jane and her little brother there, thinking nothing could go wrong. That very day however, Jane finds a mysterious chest containing the way into another world. After unwittingly letting a great evil contained for years loose, she has to set out on a journey to make things right.
